What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?

This Personal Information is obtained in many ways including correspondence, by telephone, email, via our website and from third parties. We don’t guarantee website links or policy of authorised third parties.

We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our clients and marketing. RYC will not charge any fee for your access request, but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.

Ronald Young & Co, founded as Ronald Young & Co (Vic) Pty Ltd in 1957, is a real estate practice and consultancy to the liquor and hospitality industry.

Over the years RYC has maintained its position and professional reputation as a specialist in the sale, leasing and appraisal of hotels and other licensed liquor outlets, as well as motels and caravan parks.

The proprietor, Warren Young is a qualified Valuer, Fellow of the Australian Property Institute and a licensed Estate Agent, member of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) and past Secretary of The Hotel Brokers’ Association of Victoria.

He is an acknowledged authority in relation to matters pertaining to the valuation of interests associated with hotels, motels and all other categories of licensed premises.

For many years he held the appointment of Guest Lecturer on the valuation of hotels at RMIT University. He has appeared as an expert witness on licensed property matters and is a member of the President’s Panel of the Australian Property Institute, Accredited REIV Sworn Valuer and a member of the Hotel Valuers Discussion Group.
